What to do and see
Trollstigen – Geiranger National Tourist Route
Maybe Trollstigen - Geiranger National Tourist Route is Norways most beautiful tourist route. See Trollstigen from the new spectacular viewpoint. Or walk the Old Kløvstien Path from the Isterdalen Valley up to Trollstigen. In Geiranger you can see the Geirangerfjord from Ørnesvingen (The Eagle Turn) and Flydalsjuvet. You can also see the Geirangerfjord onboard the ferry between Geiranger and Hellesylt, several daily departures from Geiranger during the summer season. Or join the boat from Geiranger to where the path to the abandoned Mountain Farm Skageflå starts. Steep path with a tremendous view to the fjord and the Seven Sisters Waterfall.

The Molde Panorama
Take a trip to the Varden View point (407 meters) above Molde and see the Molde Panorama. Here you have a fantastic view over the Romsdalsfjord. Behind the fjord you will see 222 mountain peaks towering up, partially covered in snow until late summer. Ten minutes by car or a one-hour walk on a nature trail from the centre of Molde.

The Romsdal Museum
Located in central Molde and consists of about 35 houses from the 1600s to the 1900 centuries. At the Romsdal Museum, you will find several yards and mountain pastures in addition to a separate city street that recreates how Molde looked like before the Second World War.

Fishing safari on the Romsdalsfjord
Rauma Fishing Safari invites you on an exciting fishing trip with the ship "Brisen". All trips depart from the fishing quay at Åndalsnes. The fishing banks are close by, and the Romsdalsfjord offer the chance of big fish and a wide variety of species.

The Rauma Railway
A fantastic train ride with slow driving and photo stops at the most spectacular sceneries. The Raumabanen Railway has its end station down by the Romsdalsfjord. It passes right under the massive Trollveggen Mountain Wall. Travelling over the old stone bridge "Kylling Bru", over the wild waterfalls and into the Stavem Tunnel where the train makes a 180-degree turn inside the mountain.

Hiking with fjord view
Romsdalseggen Mountain - a mountain walk in some of the most beautiful and wild mountains in the world, with a view that will take your breath away. There are mountains and fjords, peaks, rivers and waterfalls on all sides. Romsdalseggen is available in two variants: Romsdalseggen and Romsdalseggen Family.

Litlefjellet Mountain - An easy and short mountain walk with a tremendous view. Drive the mountain road from the village of Isfjorden (beside the Isfjord) to Vengedalen. The walk up to the edge of Litlefjellet (780 metres) takes approximately 30 minutes. Enjoy the fantastic view down to the Romsdalen Valley, Raumaelva River and to Troll Wall on the other side of the valley.

Fjord and sea rafting, scuba diving and sea safaris
Based on the Romsdal coast, there is a great potential for activities and nature experiences. Some of the activities are ocean safaris, fjord and sea rafting, scuba diving, island hopping and sailing a viking ship.

Ski the fjords in Romsdal
